Free trying in use of Fertilisers in rural Nepal

The great amount of 47 farmers from rural communities in Nepal took part in The Yearley Trust’s Centre of Excellence latest course aimed at improving the skills of farmers on Use of Fertilisers, Soil Testing and Seed Preparation. We had 4 professional lecturers from Kathmandu and the course lasted 1 week.

Like the previous course on Grafting all costs including lecturers’ fees, food and accommodation were provided free by the Trust and all participants found it very useful.

The Trust hopes to continue its work through the Centre with further courses aimed to assist rural farmers to increase their knowledge and, through improved knowledge and skills, their income.

We have also improved the internet quality at the Centre and can now welcome volunteering lectures from all around the world. Please get in touch if you want to give your time to help the brave people in Nepal by giving a course on any subject ! Knowledge is very empowering and we believe we can make an enormous difference there all together
