Another rural school receives our help in Nepal

Whilst The Nalang Model Academy is being totally transformed with the help of The Yearley Trust (we are all very impatient to see the final results!, another rural school in Nepal, the Wrenhardt English Medium Secondary School, is also taking advantage of the lockdown of the school to improve facilities for its 200 pupils, thanks to a personal donation from our Chairman John Yearley they are now repairing the building 🙏

John visited the school twice during 2019 and was impressed by the friendliness and enthusiasm of both the pupils and the teaching staff, but also distressed by the conditions of the building where the students have to be each day, so has been happy to help them.
As the head teacher Sangita Basnet has just said to John “We are able to do this task because of your kindness”
John hopes to visit the school again next time he is in Nepal to see the work for himself and to once again meet the staff and pupils.
