Multipurpose room and first medical centre in Nalang

John Yearley, Chairman of the Yearley Trust cut the red ribbon to officially open the new multipurpose room and medical room

that The Yearley Trust has donated to the Nalang Model Academy and to the community in Nalang. The multipurpose room can also seat 70 people for lessons or conferences as well as being a centre for cultural activities in the evening.

The new Medical Centre will provide much needed medical facilities for the whole of the community of Nalang which, until the donation of this Centre by the Trust, did not have any medical facilities.
The Trustees of the Yearley Trust had their first formal meeting with the leaders of the local community and the school Management Committee in the Multipurpose room after the official opening where we outlined our plans for next year.
On the 25th we will be holding an introduction lecture about the ICAL education program to help young children to learn English and today we will be projecting some Ecology movies for the pupils to continue building the awareness we started with the cleaning program
Meanwhile, Trustee and singer Floralyn George ,will be continuing with the singing lessons that she is giving to pupils. As the saying goes “watch this space” to hear the hear more about it later.
