When Rojina Silwal, the Yearley Trust’s Assistant Director in Nepal
, suggested to Shankar Silwal, the Trust’s Director – Nepal that some Managerial Accounting training would not only benefit some of the older pupils, but also some former pupils, he immediately set about organising a course at The Nalang Model Academy.
The very well attended course proved very popular to all participants who found it very helpful and it is hoped that it will help them to either get good jobs or for when they set up a business of their own.
John Yearley, Chairman of The Yearley Trust, congratulates the Trust’s team in Nepal on their initiative and he will follow the course up by giving Cash Flow and Budgeting training when he visits Nalang in October.
The course is part of the Trust’s campaign to improve all forms of education in rural Nepal and, through education, to improve the rural economy.
